Payment Structure
Whether you are a homeowner with a vacant home, unable to sell your current home or have a number of properties that you are looking to lease, The Home Rental Company offers two effective payment structures in order to meet your individual needs. Our number one goal is to offer a personal, valuable service to you!
#1: Exclusive Listing Agreement
With the exclusive listing agreement you can wash your hands of the rental process, because we’ll do all of the work for you! This agreement is ideal for the home owner unable to sell their current home OR if you are looking to turn your home into an investment opportunity.
- We will develop a marketing plan specific for your property
- Our professional signage will be placed in front of your home
- We will field incoming calls and take all inquiries
- We will arrange and conduct showings and/or open houses
- Administer lease applications and process applications for tenancy
- Perform tenant Screening
- Negotiate terms of the lease
- Coordinate move-in
After all of the legwork is handled, we will bring you a qualified, prospective applicant. However, you are always in the driver’s seat and will always make the final decision on who leases your home. Once the lease process is complete and an acceptable resident is located and confirmed, the leasing commission charged is one month’s rent.
#2: Referral Agreement
This is a NON exclusive agreement option meaning you only owe the Home Rental Company once we find you a qualified renter. You are free to actively market your property as you choose. If you lease your property on your own or find a tenant through another service, you do not pay us a commissionable fee. This agreement is ideal for Property Management Companies or other home rental companies looking for additional exposure. We can act as another vehicle to get your properties rented, quickly!

As with the Exclusive you are always in the driver’s seat and will always make the final decision on who leases your home. Once the lease process is complete and an acceptable resident is located and confirmed, the leasing commission charged is one half of one month’s rent.
The Home Rental Company requires either a valid signed Exclusive Listing Agreement or Referral Agreement on file to show your property. To discuss these options further, please feel free to contact us.
